Soaring Worldwide named as one of the winners at the Meeting Industry Marketing Awards.
It’s always the same. You never really think about how much you want to win an award until the time comes to read out the winners in your category. Then you get nervous…
It was the same for Team Soaring at the Meeting Industry Marketing Awards earlier this month and we were delighted to pick up a bronze award for Best Social Media Campaign. Adam collected the award from the stage and we celebrated what was a proud night for us. It’s the first time we have been recognised for our social media work and we are hoping for plenty more in the future.

The event itself was a fantastic night recognising some of the very best marketing the industry has to offer. We joined friends, industry partners and clients celebrating not just success but excellence throughout the meetings and events industry. It was truly a job well done by the organisers and the QEII Centre.
But it doesn’t end there – we hope! Later this week we will be attending another awards ceremony at Arsenal FC’s Emirates Stadium for the UK Social Media Communications Awards. We are nominated in the ‘Low Budget Social Media Campaign’ category. We will be joined by some huge names at the awards such as Sky News, Historic Royal Palaces and the Met Office! Naturally, it is a real honour to be named amongst some of the biggest names in business and to be shortlisted is a real boost for us all in the Soaring office.
It is a cliché but we really do mean it when we say that simply being shortlisted at such a high profile event is already a huge honour for us. But it’s okay to dream…right?
