The London Olympic and Paralympic Games, and Jubilee goodwill are increasing business opportunities throughout the whole year says central Westminster venue.
Church House Conference Centre is substantially ahead of its 2012 target, largely due to the impact the Olympic Games and Jubilee celebrations are having on London as the host city.
Although Church House has no confirmed bookings during the Games itself, it has seen an overall increase in bookings and interest in holding events in London during the spring and autumn of 2012.
Robin Parker, general manager at Church House Conference Centre, comments: “This year London is an exciting place to be. The London Olympic and Paralympic Games and Jubilee are playing a huge role in creating a feel good factor, and much of Church House’s new business can be attributed to companies and associations holding events in London because it is the city of the moment. Whilst Church House is still available for the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, we already have some bookings from television companies for the use of our roof space for outside broadcasts. Church House is ideal because it offers an iconic London backdrop including views of the London Eye and Big Ben. The challenge now is to capitalise on the mood created by the exciting upcoming events in London and carry our success on into next year, and beyond.”
Church House Conference Centre is one of London’s most versatile venues. It has 19 rooms which can accommodate between 2 and 664 guests and be used for a wide variety of meetings, conferences, private parties and gala dinners.
