Congratulations to Team GB

Congratulations to Team GB at the London 2012 Olympics

The London 2012 Olympics had an almighty weekend dubbed Super Saturday and Smashing Sunday.  Followed up by a superb Monday and Tuesday as the Gold Rush continues…

From athletics events including ‘The only way is Ennis’- Jess Ennis winning gold in the heptathlon and Usain Bolt maintaining his title of fastest 100m runner in the world ever to success on horseback and bikes – the utter determination that we have seen from these athletes has been astounding.

Olympic fever is most definitely gripping the nation and it is so incredible to see the whole of Britain involved, following the games and supporting all of our athletes. There have been millions of ‘tweets’ on Twitter and Facebook posts about the games, posters and flags all over Britain and nearly every household has been and will continue watching their television to catch the latest event at the games.

Soaring Worldwide has been avidly watching everything from the equestrian and athletics to diving and canoeing. Every athlete that has taken part has pushed very hard for a win but the crowds have really helped our British athletes to go that little bit further. The roar of the crowds as a British athlete performs is beyond belief. The sound through the television is something in itself but being there, listening to the crowd in agony over whether their favourite athlete will win or in sheer elation that they have won is amazing.

We wish all the athletes that have competed already a huge ‘congratulations’ and to all of those still waiting to complete their events, we wish you all the luck in the world!
