Corporates praise 30 Euston Square’s festive private dining experience

Clients from organisations including Accenture, Grant Thornton UK, Ingram Content and HCA Healthcare as well as representatives from the banking, professional services and public sectors have applauded both the creative catering and high levels of service following an exclusive Christmas themed private dining showcase at 30 Euston Square.

Harminder K Athwal from Grant Thornton UK said: “A spectacular evening. The food was superb and the service was spot on. The room and ambience was just on point… enough to get into the Christmas spirit.”

“As always, the service from the staff was impeccable. I use the meeting rooms and guest bedrooms regularly, but this was the first time I had the pleasure of formal dining,” comments Karen Coles from Ingram Content.  “The food was exceptional.  It was very creative, out of the norm and of course, delicious.  Not to mention the cocktails – these were a good variation on the usual and also delicious, as well as packing quite a punch!  I would certainly recommend this venue for private or corporate dining and will certainly be attending again.”

The private dinner, which welcomed 30 guests was based around 30 Euston Square’s six course festive tasting menu.  Head Chef, Stefan Danz led the catering team and said “working with Executive Chef Daniel Broughton, we designed a menu that would deliver a platter of culinary delights. We used only the freshest seasonal ingredients to deliver a menu filled with indulgent tasting size dishes. This showcase evening was the first time we have let our clients try the dishes and we’re both thrilled with the positive feedback and how well it’s been received.”

The menu served on the evening was:

  1. Amuse – Roasted cauliflower & vanilla velouté (v)

  2. Starter – Celeriac & walnut risotto with apple glaze (v)

  3. Fish – Miso cod, sweet potato, shallot, lemon & sunflower seed confit

  4. Meat – Lamb rump, herb quinoa, caramelised turnip purée, puffed rice & lamb jus

  5. Pre Dessert – Chocolate & star anise shot glass

  6. Dessert – Black forest assiette with sour cherry sorbet

  7. Coffee & petit fours

Debenhams’ Abi Crowther commented: “Having never been to 30 Euston Square I didn’t know what to expect.  I wasn’t disappointed.  The welcome cocktails were yummy and pretty powerful too!  The modern meeting rooms downstairs were in contrast to the beautifully traditional wood panelled room we ate in.  It gave the Christmas feel that little edge.  Food and service were impeccable, the event as a whole was a treat and not to be missed!”

Accenture’s Liz Murray commented: “I can honestly say it was the first Christmas celebration we’ve had this year. It was a great way to showcase 30 Euston Square’s taster menu, which we agreed was very tasty.”

Davina Lines from Mixing Digital concludes:  “30 Euston Square surpassed themselves at the Christmas showcase dinner with superb service, tasty food and delightful company. We have always been impressed by the professionalism of this lovely venue and would recommend them highly to other event managers.”

The evening was a true success,” said Yvette Chatwin, 30 Euston Square’s General Manager. “We welcomed a wide variety of corporate bookers, giving them a chance to see that 30 Euston Square is about far more than great conference and meeting spaces.  Private dining in our heritage rooms is a unique experience that makes the most of both our unique venue and the creative talents of our chefs.”
