Increased interest in web streaming according to Church House Conference Centre poll

Church House Conference Centre says there is increased interest in web streaming events, as demonstrated by the results of its AV survey.

The Westminster venue asked more than 100 of its clients how likely they were to web stream events in future. Results revealed around 11% of event organisers already web stream their events, with an additional 60.7% saying it would be a possibility in the future. Just 4.5% said they had no intention to stream their future events.

Church House Conference Centre recently invested in state of the art web streaming services to enable conferences at Church House to be enjoyed by delegates all over the world. It also means delegates can log in after the event and watch a recording.

Ian Locke, AV manager at Church House Conference Centre, comments: “In recent months we have seen a significant rise in the number of enquiries we receive about our capability to web stream conferences. Event organisers are looking for value for money when holding a conference. Web streaming extends the reach of a conference so more people benefit from its content”.

“Church House Conference Centre has heavily invested in state of the art technology to provide a first class AV service and we have already successfully web streamed a number of events. Following the results of our survey we are pleased to see that the number of clients looking to use this service is likely to increase and that we have the facilities in place to help them reach a global audience.”

Church House continually invests in its AV facilities and services. Other recent investments include video recording and editing services, a 100Mbps broadband line enabling free delegate Wi-Fi, digital signage and 64” plasma screens in smaller meeting rooms.

The Church House AV survey received responses from clients across a wide range of the venues client list including associations, charities and not for profit organisations, corporate companies, Government and public sector bodies and event organisers and PCOs.
