Congress Rental Network (CRN), the world’s leading association of simultaneous interpretation specialists, congress systems and AV suppliers to the events industry has announced a new board at its annual general meeting held in Turkey last month.
Panagiotis Podimatas from PC Podimatas in Greece, chairman of the CRN comments: “The board is the lifeblood of the CRN, it works tirelessly to drive both the association and the SI industry forward. By choosing the best people from amongst our members around the world we are able to come together and create long term strategic plans that will be of benefit not just for our members but also our many clients, organising events worldwide.”
Board changes include: • Mrs Paola Braccini from TC Group has joined
• Mr Kevin Leinbach from Mediaco has joined and will take on the role of treasurer • Mr Jeremy Ducklin has taken on the role of General Secretary • Mr Giles Goudreault and Mr Fred Baysinger have stepped down.
Also announced at the AGM were details of nexts years event, due to take place in Chile in January 2012.
The next EMEA focused event will be held in Malta in 25-26 August 2011.
