LSO St Luke’s open for business during Olympic Games

LSO St Luke’s has taken the strategic decision to make its space available for hire during the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer.

During July, August and September, this stylish and sophisticated venue in the heart of the City will be available for companies to use for a variety of events including conferences, private receptions, award ceremonies and gala dinners.

LSO St Luke’s is a Grade 1 listed Hawksmoor church used by the London Symphony Orchestra for rehearsals, concerts and music workshops. However, it is increasingly being used for private and corporate functions. It has welcomed many big brand names through its doors and, as a result of increased interest in the venue, occupancy levels have increased significantly in the last 12 months.

LSO St Luke’s marketing manager Tomoyo Miyakawa comments: “We made the decision to make LSO St Luke’s available for private hire during the Olympics to enhance our business opportunities. Being a restored 18th-century church, LSO St Luke’s is attractive to clients because it has a wonderful atmosphere. And with a capacity of 450 in Jerwood Hall it is an ideal venue for any type of event. It is also centrally located so it is easy for visitors to get to. The summer months will be an exciting time for us and we look forward to welcoming a variety of new and existing clients through our doors during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
