Burleigh Court, part of the imago portfolio of venues, has retained The Multidisciplinary Association of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (MASCIP) annual Scientific Conference, once again demonstrating its commitment to accessibility.
The event was first held at imago’s Burleigh Court in 2009, and it will return for the 3rd time in November, having also been held there in 2012.
Burleigh Court has dedicated disabled parking bays located close to reception and training rooms, restaurant, lounge area and 13 bedrooms all designed with improved accessibility in mind. The venue is also mobility three accredited, which is part of the National Accessible Accreditation Scheme run by Visit Britain.
John Borthwick, MASCIP membership secretary says: “We were impressed by the facilities that exist for disabled guests but more so by imago’s willingness to listen and make the changes we suggested. We’re looking forward to returning to Burleigh Court and working with the imago team on future MASCIP conferences.”
Guy Hodge, Operations Manager at Burleigh Court, comments: “The imago team is constantly working to improve its facilities for guests requiring additional access and we work with clients to see where solutions can be put in place to ensure they are able to access all areas. We have an accessibility co-ordinator which gives guests a devoted contact for bookings and enquiries, ensuring that their accessibility needs are met at all times. It’s an area we are committed to and will continue to develop for the benefit of all guests.”
