Moorfields Eye Hospital returns to LSO St Luke’s

Moorfields Eye Hospital, one of the country’s leading hospitals, is continuing its association with

LSO St Luke’s for the seventh year. In 2012 the hospital will hold two major meetings at the central London venue.

Moorfields is one of the world’s top eye hospitals, providing expertise in clinical care, research, teaching and education. It has held many events at LSO St Luke’s since 2005. The most recent event was an awards ceremony in January and two conferences are already booked for later in the year.

Jessica St Prix, PA to Director of Corporate Governance at Moorfields Eye Hospital says LSO St Luke’s is used for larger conferences and events for a number of reasons. “We use the LSO St Luke’s because Moorfields does not have the capacity to hold large conferences and special events. The location of LSO St Luke’s, its proximity to the hospital and the capacity of Jerwood Hall makes it an ideal venue and we are happy to consider it for future events,” said Jessica.

Victoria Steinitz, Sales and Events Manager at LSO St Luke’s comments: “Moorfields Eye Hospital is one of LSO St Luke’s long standing clients and we’re delighted they continue to book the venue for their meetings, conferences and special events. We look forward to the association continuing long into the future.”

A sophisticated and stylish venue, LSO St Luke’s is used regularly by the London Symphony Orchestra for rehearsals as well as hosting concerts and educational workshops. It is also available for corporate and private events such as conferences, meetings and evening events. It recently announced it would available for hire during the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer.
