Samme Allen, incoming
president of MPI’s UK and Ireland Chapter said: “The focus of the new board will be the
membership and our offering. To ensure this is achieved most effectively we have made several changes to the board structure, improving focus and aligning ourselves more closely with MPI’s global model. The UK and Ireland Chapter remains the largest outside of the Americas and our membership really is engaged with our activity, particularly supporting the wide range of successful educational events we run throughout the year.”
“My team for next year is dedicated to improving our membership experience, ensuring MPI grows and provides the best association experience in the UK and Ireland markets. In particular we plan to enhance the range of events on offer, improve those that are already proving so successful (such as the Young Achievers Awards) and benefit from MPI’s international initiatives – such as their economic impact study.”
MPI is the event industry’s most vibrant global community. It helps its members thrive by providing a massive network of people, knowledge, ideas, and marketplaces. MPI membership is comprised of more than 23,000 members belonging to 71 chapters and clubs worldwide.
