Third Annual Global Legal Forum Conference to take place at The Hague Marriott on 1-2 December 22

The Global Legal Forum Conference returns to The Hague in December 2022, where 200 delegates from around the world will gather to discuss Legal Technology, Blockchain, AI Mediation and Emerging Practices of Law.

The event will bring together legal leaders and significant global players from the legal technology sector to discuss the impact of technology on the future of law, dispute resolution and emerging practice areas. Keynote speakers from international organisations will address the future of technology in dispute resolution.

The Global Legal Forum Conference connects various stakeholders from the legal industry and public sector to address issues affecting the legal industry. The first annual Global Legal Forum was held on 23 and 24 August 2018 at the Peace Palace, The Hague and has since been an annual event which has fast become a home grown international legal conference in The Hague. The Global Legal Forum had to pause for two years due to the pandemic and it is being held after a two-year break on December 1st and 2nd at The Hague Marriott.

The Global Legal Forum was established in 2017 by Law Pundits, the world’s first ISO certified legal academic services firm, in cooperation with The Hague City Council and The Hague Convention Bureau. It is a platform which consolidates Lawyers, General and in-house counsels, Judges, policymakers, legal technologist and futurists.

Vishnu Prasad, CEO of Law Pundits and President of the Global Legal Forum, on choosing The Hague as the preferred host city for the Global Legal Forum Conference, stated that: “The Hague as the International City of Peace and Justice was the right choice for us. The fact that throughout history, some of the most important international legal treaties were signed in this city, coupled with several international legal institutions being located here, make it the ideal destination for our event. In 2018 when we launched, we had a plan to make the Global Legal Forum an annual event in The Hague. While the pandemic had caused a small disruption, we are happy to return and we can confidently say that GLF is now established as a leading conference for the worldwide legal industry and one that was made possible with the support of the Hague Convention Bureau and the city of The Hague. We hope to continue to grow GLF annually and be an important and impactful global event for the legal industry.”

Bas Schot, Head of The Hague Convention Bureau, concludes, “It is a great honour to welcome the Global Legal Forum Conference back to our city. The Hague not only stands for Peace and Justice but is also a frontrunner in (cyber)security. The objectives and scope of the event is perfectly aligned with our city’s sector expertise and knowledge. It is a pleasure to see that the event has continued to grow despite two years of global turmoil and we look forward to welcomeing the delegates next month”.
