Vintners’ Hall welcomes London’s Livery Companies in style

Vintners’ Hall, home to The Worshipful Company of Vintners’, welcomed more than 120 leading members of The City of London’s Livery Companies last night at an event that showcased the venue’s grandeur, service and creative catering skills.

The event brought together many of the Wardens and Clerks of the Livery Companies, who regularly hold a host of events in and around the City of London.  Searcys, who provide Vintners’ Hall with catering and event management services, served up a range of high end food as part of the reception including: smoked eel croquettes; salad of broad bean, prosciutto ham and Tietar cheese; basket of pepperonata, rosemary and goats curd; and foie gras, white chocolate and truffle buttons.

“This year we are holding all our key events at Vintners’ Hall for a variety of reasons, the most important of which is their focus on flexibility and quality”, comments Kim Lyons, Assistant Clerk of The Worshipful Company of Distillers. “As a Company focused on the highest quality spirits we need to start our event management process with the drink and then create a menu that matches our needs.  The team at Vintners’ are willing to do so, whilst bringing a creative touch that makes every event memorable and inspiring. One of our events involves more than 200 separate high end spirits and tastings by some of the City’s most influential individuals. Vintners’ and Searcys between them deliver the perfect balance of creativity, flexibility and service.”

Patricia Paixao, Sales and Marketing Manager for Searcys at Vintners’ Hall said: “The event was our most successful showcase to date.  We received overwhelmingly positive feedback and a variety of enquiries.  Our partnership with Vintners’ Hall allows them to provide uniquely creative catering, unmatched by the other Halls and we look forward to welcoming their events in the near future.”

Julie Fox, Clerk to the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants, concludes: “The Livery Halls are the perfect place for an event, particularly one such as Vintners’ Hall, as it brings a sense of grandeur to any gathering. As one of the Great Twelve Livery Companies they not only offer but consistently deliver excellence across the whole of their services. As an organisation holding a wide variety of events, including several focused on charitable giving due to our pro bono work we seek venues that match our own ethos and culture.  Ultimately, Vintners’ Hall and Searcys understand how important it is to make a special event special, their catering is creative and they consistently deliver above and beyond our needs and expectations.”
