The Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) will be holding its next roundtable event at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday 11th, March enabling members to discuss common challenges and share best practice.
The focus for this event will be to help define the ever changing role and place of the in-house conference organiser. The discussion, which will be chaired by Nicole Leida, will be a closed meeting subject to Chatham House Rules ensuring a high level of peer-to-peer interaction between members.
“There is a pressure on ABPCO members to become more commercially responsible so it is important we use our roundtable events for peer networking,” explained Nicole Leida, joint-chair of ABPCO. “We are providing a forum for those responsible for running conferences in the UK and now is the time to be vocal about the need for professionalism within the industry. Wembley Stadium is a stunning venue and we’re looking forward to some lively discussion between members.”
The event will be free to attend for ABPCO members but is also open for non-members looking to share their own personal challenges with industry professionals. ABPCO is the UK’s leading organisation for professional conference and event organisers, industry associates and those studying for, or seeking a career in the conference and meetings industry.
